Terms of Service

Effective November 4, 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. If it conflicts with the Korean version, the Korean version governs.

1.Purpose

These Terms govern your use of the service at supersona.space (the “Service”), provided bySupersona (the “Operator,” “we,” “us”), and set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Operator and members.

2.Definitions

  1. “Service” means the AI persona research service we provide at supersona.space and all related services.
  2. “Member” means anyone who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service under an agreement with us.
  3. “Team” means a group of members who share survey materials and usage limits.
  4. “Survey” means a unit of work in which a member sets goals, audience, screens and questions to see how AI personas respond.
  5. “AI persona” means a simulated respondent generated by an AI model from synthetic persona data.
  6. “Report” means the summary of a survey’s results. For usage limits, one report covers one survey of up to 100 virtual customers.
  7. “Member content” means any images, text, settings or other materials a member adds to the Service.
  8. “Paid plan” means the Pro or Team plan, subscribed to monthly or yearly for a fee.
  9. “Free trial” means one month of the Pro plan, free of charge, for a team subscribing to Pro for the first time.
  10. “Add-on pack” means a one-time purchase of 10 additional reports by a team on a paid plan (including the free trial).

3.Posting and changes

We post these Terms in the Service. We may change them within the limits of applicable law. We will announce changes in the Service at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to you, which we will also send to your email address.

If we tell you that continuing without objection means you accept the changes and you do not object before they take effect, you will be deemed to accept them, except that changes unfavorable to you apply to you only with your express consent. If you do not agree, you may terminate your agreement.

4.Other rules

Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by applicable law and general commercial practice.

5.Creating an account

An agreement is formed when you accept these Terms, apply to sign up, and we approve your application. The Service is intended for business use; if you sign up with email, you must use your work email address. You must be at least 14 years old.

We may decline an application if any of the following applies, and may terminate the agreement if (1) or (2) comes to light after sign-up:

  1. it uses another person’s identity or false information;
  2. the applicant previously lost membership under these Terms;
  3. an email sign-up uses a personal or disposable email address; or
  4. it otherwise violates applicable law or our conditions of use.

We may also delay approval if we lack capacity or face technical or operational issues.

6.Your account

You sign in with an email and password or a Google account. You are responsible for your account and must not let others use it. If you learn that your account has been compromised, tell us immediately and follow our instructions; we are not responsible for losses that result from failing to do so.

7.Teams

Every member belongs to one team, and all members of a team can view and edit its materials. Team owners can invite members and remove their access. Invitations expire 14 days after they are sent.

8.The Service

We provide survey creation and runs, AI persona responses and reports, and other services we may add. The Service is available 24 hours a day, every day, but we may suspend it temporarily for maintenance, equipment failure, network outages, or outages at third-party providers such as AI model providers.

The survey trial, available without signing in, runs on a prepared example and does not count toward your usage limit.

9.Usage limits

Usage is measured by the number of reports each team uses. The reports in each plan and the maximum number of people per survey are listed on the pricing page. Limits reset at 00:00 on the first day of each month, Korea Standard Time, for the free plan and separately agreed plans, and every month from the start date of the subscription for paid plans. Unused reports do not roll over, and yearly subscriptions also receive their reports month by month.

A survey uses one report for every 100 virtual customers (one report up to 100 people, 2 from 101 to 200). If a survey ends without a report, the reports it used are returned. The Service shows how many remain.

Reports from an add-on pack can be used for 12 months from purchase, are used after the monthly allowance runs out, and stay available if you cancel your paid subscription.

10.Changes to and discontinuation of the Service

We may change all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons and will announce such changes in advance. If we discontinue the Service, we will announce it in the Service and notify you by email at least 30 days in advance, and you will be able to download your materials during that period.

11.Your obligations

You must not:

  1. provide false information when signing up or updating your details;
  2. use another person’s account or trade account credentials;
  3. upload materials containing other people’s personal or sensitive information;
  4. infringe our or anyone else’s intellectual property rights;
  5. post content that violates the law or public order;
  6. interfere with the Service, including automated requests to get around usage limits;
  7. reverse engineer the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or scrape it without our permission; or
  8. collect the Service’s output to train other AI models.

If you do, we may restrict your use of the Service under Section 17.

12.Our obligations

We will comply with the law and these Terms and do our best to provide the Service reliably. We maintain security measures to protect your personal information and follow our Privacy Policy. If we find a complaint justified, we will address it and let you know the outcome by email.

13.Your content

You keep all rights to your member content. We use it only as needed to provide the Service, such as running surveys, generating reports and resolving issues, and we do not use it to train AI models.

You confirm that you have the rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. When you run a survey, your content is sent to AI model providers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

14.Intellectual property

We own the rights to the Service, including its software, design and trademarks. You may not copy, distribute or use them commercially without our prior consent.

You may use the reports you receive freely, and any rights we may have in them belong to you. Because of how AI models work, other members may receive similar results. The Service’s AI personas are based on NVIDIA Nemotron-Personas (CC BY 4.0).

15.AI-generated results

The responses and analysis in a report are generated by AI models and are not responses from real customers. Figures in a report do not represent actual conversion rates, market share or purchase probability. We do not guarantee that reports are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose, and you use them at your own judgment and responsibility.

16.Fees and payment

We offer paid plans (Pro and Team) and add-on packs alongside the free plan. Prices, the reports in each plan and the maximum number of people per survey are listed on the pricing page. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars. Prices paid in Korea include VAT; in some countries, such as the United States, local tax may be added.

Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”) as the merchant of record. When you pay, you enter into the payment agreement with Polar, which handles your payment method, collects and remits taxes and issues receipts. We do not receive your payment method details.

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically at the same price until you cancel.

You may change plans at any time. Upgrades and switches from monthly to yearly take effect immediately and the difference is charged right away. Downgrades and switches from yearly to monthly take effect on your next billing date. If a change is both (for example, moving to a higher plan while switching from annual to monthly), it takes effect on your next billing date. If you change only the billing cycle during the free trial, the trial continues and nothing is charged; if you change to the Team plan during the free trial, the trial ends and the Team plan price is charged right away.

We may offer a team subscribing to Pro for the first time a one-month free trial, once per team. You start the trial by adding a payment method and are not charged during the trial. Within 30 days before the trial ends, we will tell you in the Service and by email the date the trial ends, the price and billing interval after conversion, how to cancel (at any time in Settings › Plan and usage) and what cancelling means, and we will ask for your separate consent to convert to paid. If you do not consent, or you cancel during the trial, the trial ends on its end date, you are not charged and your team moves to the free plan. Cancelling after you consent follows the cancellation and refund terms below.

You may cancel a subscription at any time. If you cancel a monthly subscription, you can keep using the Service until the end of the period you have paid for, after which your team moves to the free plan. If you cancel a yearly subscription, you can keep using the Service until the end of the year you have paid for, and you can request a refund of the remaining period as described below.

If a renewal payment fails, Polar retries it on a set schedule and you keep your plan meanwhile. If payment ultimately fails, the subscription ends and your team moves to the free plan.

You can request a withdrawal or refund in the Service, and Polar refunds it to the payment method you used. A refunded subscription ends immediately, and the remaining reports of a refunded add-on pack are removed.

  1. Within 7 days of payment: reports are digital content delivered one at a time, so under the proviso to Article 17(2)5 of Korea’s Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce we refund the part for unused reports, calculated as the amount paid × unused reports ÷ reports granted by that payment. Reports granted are the month’s reports for a monthly subscription, a year’s worth for a yearly subscription (Pro 180, Team 960) and 10 for an add-on pack. For an annual subscription, however, if the amount calculated as in item 4 is larger, we refund that amount. For example, if you used 3 of the 15 reports from a Pro monthly payment ($19), the refund is $19 × 12 ÷ 15 = $15.20.
  2. In a billing period in which you upgraded: within 7 days of that period’s last charge (the period charge or the upgrade charge), we refund the sum of that period’s charges × unused reports ÷ the current plan’s report count (one year’s count for an annual subscription). Here too, for an annual subscription, if the amount calculated as in item 4 is larger, we refund that amount.
  3. After 7 days, monthly subscriptions and add-on packs are not refunded; if you cancel a monthly subscription, you keep it until the end of the period you have paid for.
  4. After 7 days, you may cancel a yearly subscription at any time and receive a refund for the remaining period, calculated as the total paid for the current billing period (including any amount charged when you changed plans) minus, for each month used (counted from that period’s first charge, including the current month), the monthly price of the plan you used that month. The month in which you upgraded counts at the plan before the upgrade. If the result is below zero, nothing is refunded. If tax was added to your payment, the monthly price is counted with tax at the same rate. For example, cancelling a Pro yearly subscription ($182) after 3 months returns $182 − $19 × 3 = $125.
  5. A subscription in its free trial: there is nothing to refund, since you are not charged. Add-on packs bought during the trial follow items 1 and 3.

If we change prices, we will post the change in the Service at least 30 days before it applies. Your current subscription price does not change; to apply a higher price to an existing subscription, we will ask for your separate consent within 30 days before it applies. We will not retroactively charge for free usage already provided.

The checkout and plan-change screens show the line “By paying, you agree to the Terms and the refund policy” with a link to these Terms. When you pay or change plans, you agree to these Terms and the refund terms above, and we record when you agreed and which version of these Terms applied.

17.Termination and restrictions

You may terminate your agreement at any time by contacting us (Section 23), and we will process your request within 10 days. Your information and materials will then be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. If you are on a paid plan, cancelling the subscription and any refund follow Section 16.

If you breach Section 11, we may restrict your use or terminate your agreement after notice, or act first and notify you promptly when urgent action is needed. You may appeal a restriction, and if we find your appeal justified we will restore your access immediately.

18.Notices

We may send notices to your registered email address. For notices to all members, we may instead post them in the Service for at least 7 days.

19.Damages

If either party breaches these Terms and causes damage to the other, it is liable for that damage.

20.Limitation of liability

We are not liable for damage caused by:

  1. natural disasters or other force majeure;
  2. problems attributable to you;
  3. outages at third-party providers such as cloud or AI model providers;
  4. decisions you make based on reports; or
  5. use of the Service while it is provided free of charge.

These limitations do not apply to damage caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

21.Assignment

You may not assign or pledge your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent.

22.Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be brought before the court with jurisdiction under Korea’s Civil Procedure Act. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

23.Contact

We reply to inquiries within 10 days of receiving them.

Effective date

These Terms are effective as of November 4, 2026. Sections 9 and 16 apply from October 28, 2026, the date these Terms were posted, to members who agree to them under Section 16 when buying a paid plan or add-on pack or changing plans, from the time they agree.
